NOTE: "superior" means with more handmade embroidery compared to the waistcoat with "normal" embroidery, however less embroidery than the waistcoat with "rich" embroidery.

One of the many regional and traditional lady's clothing with its own identity. Its use in festivals and pilgrimages or folkloric ranches, allows easy recognition of its origin and identity: the municipality of Viana do Castelo and the region of Minho.
