"Simple" means with less embroidery than usual.

Used with the traditional "simple" Mordoma's costume.

Despite having "simple" embroidery, it remains one of several regional and traditional women's garments with its own identity. Its use in festivals and pilgrimages or folkloric ranches, allows easy recognition of its origin and identity: the municipality of Viana do Castelo and the region of Minho.

NOTE: It also exists with "normal" and "rich" embroidery.
